The linear heat detector is a thermal cable that consists of two conductors of twistedsteel, covered by a layer of heat sensitive polymer. Upon reaching the temperature,a contact between the two conductors is provoked, generating
an alarm signal. Available in various triggering temperatures.
As its main features we underline:
- Its resistivity of 0.65 /m allows us to identify the distance to the source of heat.
- Suitable to protect cable trays, conveyor tunnels, petrochemical, storage rooms,machinery…
- “”-M”” models with a load-bearing external steel wire for ease of installation.
